Accreditation
Connect2Excel International School is fully accredited by Cognia.
Every school says it delivers a quality education. Accreditation is one of the few ways you can check.
C2E holds full accreditation from Cognia — the organisation behind the three historic American accrediting commissions, NCA CASI, SACS CASI and NWAC. It's the same recognition held by thousands of established schools across the United States, and it's what allows a student in Dubai, Lagos or Ho Chi Minh City to earn an American education that means something when they apply to university.
01WHAT ACCREDITATION ACTUALLY MEANS
Cognia is a non-profit organisation serving more than 40,000 public and private institutions, from early learning through high school, across over 100 countries and territories. Its accreditation — delivered through the regional agencies SACS CASI, NCA CASI and NWAC — is recognised by universities, higher education institutions, state departments of education and ministries of education around the world.
When Cognia reviews a school, it checks whether students are actually learning. The team looks at evidence, not marketing — they interview teachers, review student data, and measure the school against Cognia's published performance standards.
If the school falls short, it doesn't pass. If it passes, the process doesn't end — accredited institutions are reviewed again on a recurring cycle, so the status has to be earned repeatedly rather than held indefinitely.
That's the point. Accreditation is ongoing accountability, not a one-time award.
02WHO COGNIA IS
Cognia is a non-profit organisation serving more than 40,000 public and private institutions, from early learning through high school, across over 100 countries and territories. Its accreditation — delivered through the regional agencies SACS CASI, NCA CASI and NWAC — is recognised by universities, higher education institutions, state departments of education and ministries of education around the world.
The organisation's roots go back more than a century, through the unification of those three regional commissions, and it took the Cognia name in 2019. For families, the practical takeaway is simpler: this is a credential admissions officers and education ministries already know.
03WHY IT MATTERS MORE FOR AN ONLINE SCHOOL
An online school has to prove something a traditional campus doesn't — that learning at a distance can be just as rigorous as learning in a classroom.
That means demonstrating real teacher-student interaction, genuine assessment integrity, qualified and certified educators, a curriculum that meets American standards, and measurable student outcomes. C2E met those standards. Our accreditation is not for a building; it's for the education itself.
04WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR CHILD
University applications carry weight. Transcripts and diplomas from an accredited school are accepted by universities in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe and across Asia and the Middle East. Unaccredited credentials often aren't — and families usually discover this at the worst possible moment.
Credits transfer. If your child ever moves to a traditional school, or your family relocates, coursework completed at C2E is recognised rather than repeated.
The diploma is real. A C2E high school diploma is an accredited American high school diploma, not a certificate of completion.
Quality is independently verified. You don't have to take our word for how we teach. An outside body has already checked.
Employers and authorities recognise it. Whether your child applies for a job, a visa, a scholarship or a military academy place, the qualification stands up to scrutiny.
05FOR INTERNATIONALLY MOBILE FAMILIES
Families who move between countries know the anxiety of an academic record that has to survive three different systems. A student might start in South Africa, spend three years in the UAE, and finish in the UK. Each move risks lost credits, repeated years and paperwork nobody will accept.
An accredited online school removes that problem. The school travels with the family. The transcript stays continuous, in one recognised format, no matter how many times the address changes.
06VERIFY IT YOURSELF
We'd encourage you to. Cognia maintains a public directory of accredited institutions, searchable by name and country, at www.cognia.org. Look us up before you enrol — and while you're there, look up any other school you're considering.
That last suggestion is deliberate. Accreditation is the one claim in school marketing that can be independently confirmed in about thirty seconds.
